Divisions

Peanuts: Grades 1st-3rd

  • This is an in-house league and games will be against other WSB teams.

Peewees: Grades 4th-6th

  • This is an in-house league and games will be against other WSB teams.

Travel: Grades 7th-8th

  • This is a local travel team that will play in the MYAS Football League, games will be against other football organizations and game locations will be played throughout the North Metro Area.
  • Parents/guardians will be responsible for all transportation to and from games for players.

 

Practices

  • Peanuts: 3-4 days a week
  • Peewees: 3-4 days a week
  • Travel Team 7th-8th Graders: 3-4 days a week
  • Practice times will vary between 6pm-8:30pm.
  • Practice times, locations and dates are subject to change due to practice space availability. 
  • All practice information will be updated in SportsEngine.

 

Games

  • Peanuts: Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings
  • Peewees: Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons
  • All Peanut and Peewee games will be held at El Rio Vista Recreation Center, 179 Robie St. E, St. Paul, MN 55107 (Turf Fields). 
  • Schedules will be released around the beginning of the season on SportsEngine.

Travel Team 7th-8th Graders: 

  • Potentially 2-3 games per week (weekdays & weekends). 
  • Once the MYAS league game schedule is provided, that information will be posted in SportsEngine. 
  • All travel team game days, locations and times are subject to change at the direction of the MYAS league.
  • Travel games will be played throughout the North Metro Area. 
  • Parents/guardians will be responsible for all transportation to and from games for players

 

Equipment Deposit

Equipment Deposit Fee: $60.00

Equipment provided: Helmet, shoulder pads, and padded football pants.

All players are required to pay a $60.00 equipment deposit on the day of equipment handout in order to receive players equipment. The deposit must be paid using a Money Order addressed to the Westside Boosters (please list players name & grade  in the memo field) or Cash (exact amount only no change will be provided).

The deposit fee will be returned to players at equipment turn-in at the end of the season, provided all equipment is returned. If equipment is not returned at the end of the 2025 season, the deposit will be forfeited.

Players are allowed to use their own helmets and shoulder pads if they own those items.  Players are only allowed to use their own padded football pants if they are black padded pants.
